What is Reiki?

Reiki (RAY-key) energy healing is an exciting, gentle, non-invasive method of healing. The word Reiki means, literally, Universal Life Force energy. This is the energy that is found in the entire world as we know it and in all living beings. Most people commonly hear of energy flow within the body in the context of a modality such as acupressure or acupuncture where the practitioner stimulates certain meridians (junctions of energy pathways) to balance the flow of energy. In Reiki, the practitioner simply holds their hands above the body or rests them gently on the body to channel energy through the body, encouraging it to work for the patient’s highest good. A Reiki healing works “with” you rather than “to” you and affects body, mind and spirit allowing for growth and healing in all areas.

What is Reiki good for?

Because Reiki effects body, mind and spirit, the results and be very wide ranging. It is helpful for health issues of all kinds—physical, emotional or mental. It enhances connection with the Divine, however that manifests for you (God, Buddha, Jesus, the Universe…). It is a wonderful way to deepen your connection with your family members and animals. Reiki is first and foremost a self-healing technique, but is also a wonderful way to help others.

Private Reiki sessions for you or your animals:

For humans-
We ask that you join us in our healing space in Richfield, MN and plan to be unavailable to the world for 1½ hours.
The sessions do not always take that long but it is good to not be in a hurry.

For animals-
It is often best to treat animals in their home, but sometimes this isn’t possible. If you live within 10 miles, we will travel to treat your animal with no extra charge. If you live outside that radius, you can arrange to bring your animal to us in Richfield, MN, inquire about travel fees for us to come to you, or schedule a distance Reiki session.

Distance healing-
If you are unable to travel or live too far away, or need healing on a frequent basis, scheduling distance healings is a wonderful solution. Energy is easy to send over distance, and Reiki is an energy healing modality. This makes distance healing very accessible to you! Distance healings are sold singly or in packages of 7 or 14.
